Texas A&M identifies freshman found dead at dorm as young woman from Baytown

Officials at Texas A&M University (TAMU) in College Station have identified the freshman who was found dead at the on-campus Dunn Hall dormitory as Britney Romero of Baytown. TAMU Vice President of Student Affairs Brig. Gen. Joe E. Ramirez Jr. (Ret.) said in an Oct. 15 letter to students, faculty, and staff that Romero was a health major at the time of her death. Ramirez expressed his condolences to Romero's family and friends and assured them of the university's support during this difficult time.
