Abbott issues $15,000 reward in Pearland flea market shooting

The Office of the Texas Governor put out a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and capture of the suspect in a fatal shooting at a flea market in Pearland. The incident, which claimed the life of one child and injured four others, occurred at Cole’s Flea Market on Nov. 12, per a press release issued on Nov. 13.

Galveston Police Department is currently investigating an alleged shooting that took place on The Strand during the Lone Star Rally on the night of Nov. 4, according to a Facebook post by the city of Galveston. The incident reportedly happened in the 2100 block of The Strand around 11 p.m., and due to the large law enforcement presence for the annual event, police were able to respond swiftly.
