Congressman Morgan Luttrell (R-TX) has expressed support following the House's approval of S. 2392, known as the Veterans’ Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) Act of 2025. The legislation is designed to increase benefits for veterans with service-connected disabilities and for certain survivors, aligning their compensation with the current cost of living.

Luttrell introduced a companion version of this bill in the House. In his statement, he said, “Today’s passage of the Veterans’ Compensation COLA Act provides our heroes with the peace of mind they deserve and access to the benefits they are owed. I am proud to join my House colleagues in staying firm in our commitment to serving those who have served and protected us.”

Morgan Luttrell has demonstrated electoral strength in recent years. He won the general election against Laura Jones in both 2022 and 2024, securing more than two-thirds of the vote each time.
