Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Ashley Morgan to the Texas Water Development Board, with her term set to end on February 1, 2027. The board is responsible for providing leadership, planning, and assistance in developing water resources across Texas.
Ashley Morgan, based in Georgetown, is currently an attorney at Erben & Yarbrough. Her previous roles include positions at the Office of the Governor, the Office of the Attorney General, the Railroad Commission of Texas, and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. She is involved with several organizations such as the State Bar of Texas and serves on the UT System Chancellor’s Council Executive Committee. Additionally, she volunteers as a docent at the Governor’s Mansion and participates in the Stephen F. Austin Alumni Association.
Morgan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Political Science from Stephen F. Austin State University and earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law.
