Abbott reappoints Erin Lunceford to Texas criminal justice lands lease board

Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Erin Lunceford to the Board for Lease of Texas Department of Criminal Justice Lands. Her term is set to expire on September 1, 2025. The board is responsible for leasing land owned by the Texas Department of Justice.

Erin Lunceford, based in Houston, is a lawyer who currently practices mediations and arbitrations through Lunceford ADR, LLC. She has previously served as a judge for the 61st Judicial District Court in Harris County. Lunceford holds board certification in Personal Injury Trial Law and is recognized as a certified Medical Malpractice Specialist by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. Her past roles include serving as a board member of the Houston Bar Association and being an associate member and former president of the Houston chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder and her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston.
