Grammy Award-winning rock band Bon Jovi is calling for local bands to audition for the opening slots at their upcoming concerts, which includes a show in Houston, Variety reported.
“We have all missed touring and we know that nothing can replace the energy of a live show for the fans or the band,” Bon Jovi said, Variety reported.
The Bon Jovi 2022 Tour will include 14 cities this spring, with the band visiting Houston on April 26.
Bands are asked to submit an audition video of original music for the opportunity to serve as Bon Jovi's warmup act at a show. The quintet is expected to select one band for each tour date.
The tour is to help promote the band's new album, "2020," which Variety said was "unfortunately named."

The Houston concert will be held at the Toyota Center starting at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $19.50 - $750.
