The Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe | Houston is set to continue its "It's 5 o'Clock Somewhere Concert Series" with a performance by Texas country artist Gary Kyle & The Kin on October 12 at 5 p.m.
According to a press release from the resort hotel, free live musical performances will be held every Saturday throughout October and November at 5 p.m. on the St. Somewhere lawn, with Lake Conroe as the backdrop. The concerts will feature a variety of musical talent, including rock, country, Motown, and tribute bands.
Gary Kyle is a Texas-based singer-songwriter and the frontman of Gary Kyle and The Kin. Known for blending country, rock, and Americana influences, Kyle has built a dedicated fan base with his heartfelt lyrics and energetic performances. The band’s music often reflects personal stories of love, heartache, and life experiences.
Jimmy Buffett, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 76, was known for his song that inspired the resort hotel's name and became a Top 10 hit in 1977. General admission tickets are free; however, guests must claim a complimentary ticket per person for entry. These tickets offer attendees a 20% discount on food and non-alcoholic beverages at LandShark Bar & Grill or License to Chill Bar & Café. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets for seating on the lawn.
The release also encourages guests to visit the Boathouse Bar & Lounge following the concert for free live entertainment from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Houston’s Margaritaville Lake Resort is located at 600 Margaritaville Parkway in Montgomery.
