Over the Thanksgiving break, Fort Bend County Judge K.P. George told constituents that he is receptive to any feedback they are willing to provide.

Judge George posted on Twitter that ideas from the county’s citizens could merit further discussion.

"No one has a monopoly on good ideas. If you have a thought on how to improve our county or supercharge the economy, I want to hear it! Whether you're a doctor, electrician or stay-at-home mom. Being a county judge means listening to ALL Fort Bend residents," he wrote.

Judge George was also reflective on things in his life that he was appreciative for.

"This #Thanksgiving holiday, I'm thankful for: Electricity, running water, a second pair of shoes/clothes, enough food, a bed, a house, mobility. This may sound crazy or simple, but, growing up I didn't have these items. I thank GOD and America for providing opportunity," he wrote.

Earlier this month, the judge was hospitalized because he needed to have a large kidney stone removed and was discharged after the procedure, according to the Houston Daily.

“While I can't respond to every single well wish and kind word, please know they mean a lot to me. I'm blessed to have each one of you in my life. I'm resting up and look forward to being in action and resuming my normal schedule shortly for the good people of Fort Bend County,” he wrote on Twitter.

Houston Daily also reported that the county judge offered his well-wishes to Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani education activist who's also the youngest Nobel laureate, on the date of her wedding.

“Please join me in congratulating global icon for peace and equality @Malala for getting married. Fort Bend County and the whole world is sending you well wishes for a great life ahead. #Congratulations,” he wrote on Twitter.
