Trees for Houston will host its Tree Giveaway event Saturday, Oct. 22, inviting residents to drive through and pick up a free tree.
The local-non profit shared details of the event for those interested.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.—or while supplies last—at 2001 W 34th St. in Houston. Customers are urged to arrive close to 9 a.m. to ensure they receive their first choice of tree.
Species will include American Elm, American Beautyberry, Buttonbush, Loblolly Pine, Pecan, Red Maple, and River Birch.
