Texas military bases contribute $151B to state economy

The findings are based on a study conducted by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts at the request of the Texas Military Preparedness Commission (TMPC), which analyzed the economic impact of military installations within Texas.

The proclamation, which has been previously amended multiple times in May and June, addresses the severe storms and flooding that began on April 26, 2024.
