Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital celebrated National Hospital Week (May 12-18) with the unveiling of their inaugural Community Visual Art Exhibition Gallery collection. Entitled “LBJ Exposed,” the artwork is a collection of photographs taken by HISD student artists that depict the zeitgeist of the community surrounding LBJ and the city of Houston.

The TIRZs are a murky, complex world that elude simple explanations or generalizations. It is also very difficult to get good data on them. The City has done a poor job of overseeing the TIRZs and the financial reporting is disjointed and difficult to access.
