Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Julia Faye Dvorak to the State Board for Educator Certification. Her new term will end on February 1, 2031. The board is responsible for setting requirements for teacher certification, continuing education, and standards of conduct for public school teachers.

Dvorak works as a public relations consultant and is the founder of Dvorak & Co. She lives in Liberty Hill with her husband Kennon and their three children. The family attends Victory City Church. Dvorak holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Communication and a certification in Ethics & Leadership in Law, Politics, and Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
