U.S. Congressman Brian Babin has expressed his support for the reelection of Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House of Representatives. After casting his vote, Babin issued a statement highlighting his confidence in Johnson's leadership and outlining the priorities he believes were mandated by voters in November.
“Today, I proudly voted to reelect Mike Johnson to serve as our House Speaker,” said Babin. He emphasized key issues such as secure borders, a strong military, a thriving economy, affordable prices, and an end to what he termed "woke policies."
Babin also mentioned the alignment between Speaker Johnson, the Republican-controlled Senate, and Donald Trump in the White House. “With Speaker Johnson, our Republican-controlled Senate, and Donald Trump in the White House, I am confident that the days of hard-working Americans coming in last are over," he stated. "It’s time to get to work as we usher in a new golden age for our great country.”
