Philanthropist to host fashion show benefit: ‘I’m looking forward to an evening of class, elegance, fashion, and some of Houston’s most elite attendees’

Theresa Roemer will host her annual Theresa Roemer's Fashion Woodlands, a fashion show experience benefiting The Make A Wish Foundation on Nov. 4. Roemer will open up her house to the fashion show attendees, and she is excited for the event.

"I’m always elated to open my home to host Fashion Woodlands event to raise money for an organization that is near and dear to my heart," said Theresa Roemer. "I’m looking forward to an evening of class, elegance, fashion, and some of Houston’s most elite attendees."

According to a press release, Theresa Roemer's Fashion Woodlands is a New York-style fashion show that will showcase the works of several international designers, including Cesar Galindo, Lee Evans Lee, Jonathan Blaze, Jonathan Blake, and Jose Sanchez. Real Housewives of Atlanta star and Supermodel Cynthia Bailey will be the official celebrity featured guest, amongst other Houston-based celebrities that will also walk the runway.


Roemer will open up the doors of her new 15,000-square-foot home for this event. According to a press release, "guests will be surrounded by glamor in every form." There will be light bites and cocktails served throughout the event. A piece of jewelry valued at $15,000-$20,000, donated by Mark Pharo Extraordinary Jewels, will be raffled off during the evening.

The event will start at 7:30 and end at 11 p.m. There will be complimentary valet parking available. Media must RSVP by Oct. 25, the release stated.

According to the release, Roemer is the CEO of Theresa Roemer, LLC, and a small business owner who specializes in business philanthropy. She owns several businesses in Houston, working regularly with major motion pictures, television studios, corporations, and high-profile brands to expand their philanthropic reach to raise millions of dollars through business charity events. She consults often with organizations such as LVMH.

Bailey has over 30 years of experience being a supermodel, as well as an actor, TV personality, and CEO, and has graced runways in Paris, Milan, New York Fashion week, and more, the release stated.
