Brays Oaks Management District Board of Directors met June 20.
Here is the agenda provided by the board:
1. Determine quorum; call meeting to order.
2. Receive public comments. (A statement of no more than 3 minutes may be made on items of general relevance. There will be no yielding of time to another person. State law prohibits the Board Chair or members of the Board from commenting on any statement or engaging in dialogue without an appropriate agenda item being posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Law, Comments should be directed to the entire Board, not individual members. Engaging in verbal attacks or comments intended to insult, abuse malign or slander any individual shall be cause for termination of time privilege).
3. Consider Resolution Waiving Automatic Resignation of Board Member.
4. Approve Minutes of meeting held on May 16, 2023.
5. Receive Assessment Collection Report.
6. Receive monthly financial report and approve invoices for payment.
7. Receive update from Business and Economic Development Committee.
a. Receive presentation from SNR Creative on BOMD collateral.
b. Consider funding for celebratory gunfire program.
8. Receive update and recommendations from Public Safety Committee.
a. Consider a matching reward for Crime Stoppers Houston.
9. Receive update and recommendations from Beautification and Urban Design Committee.
a. Consider proposal from Price Wagener to remove and replace backflow preventer.
10. Receive update and recommendations from Infrastructure Committee.
a. Consider amending Agreement for Improvements and Maintenance of Willow Waterhole Greenway Exhibit A to include butterfly sculpture in honor of Kathleen Ownby.
11. Receive update and recommendations from the community development committee regarding the following application for support funding within the district:
a. Consider sponsorship request for Willow Waterhole Greenspace Conservancy Music Fest.
12. Receive Executive Director’s Report.
