Best-selling hard rock band Guns N’ Roses (GNR) will visit Houston as part of their ongoing world tour, according to a report from Houston FOX affiliate KRIV.

Per the station, the tour resumes in Tel Aviv, Israel on June 5 and then spends much of the summer making stops in the United Kingdom (UK) and continental Europe before embarking on the U.S./Canada trek in August.

“Welcome to another epic trip around the globe,” the seven-member group proclaimed on Twitter.

KRIV reported that the band’s Bayou City show will be held at Minute Maid Park on Sept. 28. Houston is among the 22 North American stops on the tour itinerary, with Vancouver, Canada tabbed for the finale on Oct. 16.

GNR’s most recent concert in Houston was at NRG Stadium in 2017 during their Not in This Lifetime… Tour.

Billboard reported that the band will grace numerous festivals, stadiums and arenas during the Live Nation-backed tour, of which a ticket presale takes place on Wednesday before the general sale on Friday.

Fans can purchase tickets and view all show dates on GNR’s website

The band last performed in Auckland, New Zealand on Dec. 10, 2022.

Famous for late 1980s earworms such as “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and “Welcome to the Jungle,” GNR consists of original members Axl Rose, Saul “Slash” Hudson and Duff McKegan and recent additions Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer and Melissa Reese.

Their last studio album since 1991’s double effort “Use Your Illusion” and “Chinese Democracy,” was released in 2008 after a 15-year period pockmarked by legal troubles, lineup changes and conflict with the record label.

Citing an article on Consequence’s website, Yahoo reported that GNR might go into the studio to record the followup to “Chinese Democracy.”
