Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. Determine quorum and call meeting to order.

2. Receive public comments. (A statement of no more than 3 minutes may be made on items of general relevance. There will be no yielding of time to another person. State law prohibits the Board Chair or members of the Board from commenting on any statement or engaging in dialogue without an appropriate agenda item being posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Law. Comments should be directed to the entire Board, not individual members. Engaging in verbal attacks or comments intended to insult, abuse, malign or slander any individual shall be cause for termination of time privileges.)

3. Approve Minutes from January 11, 2023, Board meeting.

4. Receive updates and recommendations from Budget & Finance Committee:

a. Assessment Collection Report.

b. Receive Bookkeeper’s Reports

c. Approve payment of invoices.

d. Consider an Engagement letter from George Baugh III CPA for FY 2022 Auditing Services

5. Receive updates and recommendations from Governance Committee:

a. Consider FY 2023 Board and Staff Retreat Budget and authorize budget in a not-to-exceed amount.

b. Consider an Independent Consultant Agreement with Dr. Robert Bostic for FY 2023 Board & Staff Retreat Facilitator and authorize budget in a not-to-exceed amount.

6. Receive update and recommendations from District Administrative Policies & Procedures Committee.

7. Receive updates and recommendations from District Services and Improvements.

a. Consider hosting Quarterly Commercial Assessed Property Owner and Business Owner Engagement Events and authorize budget in a not-to-exceed amount.

b. Consider Agreement with Houston BCycle for Operation and Maintenance of four (4) Houston BCycle Stations along the Houston Southeast Neighborhood Greenways Route at MacGregor Park, MLK & Griggs, Park at Palm Center, and Perry at Milart Street for six (6) months.

c. Consider sponsorship request from African American Male Wellness Agency to sponsor its National African American Male Wellness Walk Male Wellness Walk on Saturday, April 15, 2023, and authorize budget in a not-to-exceed amount.

d. Consider vendor list approval for the Museum Park Traffic Calming Pilot and authorize budget in a not-to-exceed amount.
