Pop superstar Taylor Swift announced her The Eras Tour on Tuesday, with Houston among her two stops in Texas, per a report from Houston CBS affiliate KHOU.
Swift’s announcement came just days after the release of her “Midnights” album.
“I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career … The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the U.S., with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!” the Pennsylvania-born singer-songwriter said in a tweet.
KHOU reported that Swift will bring The Eras Tour to NRG Stadium on April 22, 2023.
Her other Lone Star stop will be at AT&T Stadium in Arlington where she’ll perform on April 1 and 2, the station reported.
The U.S. leg will begin in Glendale, Arizona on March 18 and end in Los Angeles on Aug. 5.
According to KHOU, fans can register for a Ticketmaster Verified Fan program through Wednesday, Nov. 9.
Upon registration, they’ll receive a code that provides exclusive access to purchase tickets online on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m., just three days before they go on sale to the general public.
The station reported that tickets cost between $49 and $449.
CNBC reported “Midnights” broke a weekly sales record set by Swift herself in 2017 with the release of her “Reputation” album.
Per CNBC, her latest effort is a return to the past anchored by the single “Anti-Hero.”
“Midnights” consists of 13 tracks produced by Swift and Jack Antonoff, the report said.
