The Board of Directors of Harris County Municipal Management District #1 met a regular meeting to discuss, and, if appropriate, act upon the following items:
1. Call meeting to order, take attendance and verify a quorum is present.
2. Public comments.
3. Director matters, including:
a. Approve Sworn Statement, Official Bond, and Oath of Office of new and reappointed directors;
b. Reorganize the Board and authorize execution of District Registration Form;
c. Open Meetings Act Training Requirements; and
d. Conflict of interest disclosure required under Chapter 176 of the Texas Local Government Code, including review of disclosure forms adopted by the Texas Ethics Commission and List of Local Government Officers.
4. Approve minutes of the August 18, 2021, meeting.
5. Financial report and bookkeeping matters, including payment of bills, review of investments, and review cash flow reports.
6. Assessment and collection report including collection of delinquent assessments and payment of bills, and report on valuation lawsuits by District assessment payers against the Harris County Appraisal District.
7. Supplemental Assessment Matters, including:
a. Accept hearing examiner’s report and proposal for decision regarding 2021 supplemental assessment hearing;
b. Adopt Order Supplementing the Assessment Roll, Levying Assessments Against the Property on the Supplemental Assessment Roll for the Remainder of the 10-Year Period, and Setting the Assessment Rate for the Year 2021; and
c. Authorize execution of Amendment to Information Form.
8. Gessner Paver Replacement Update.
9. Gessner/Mathewson Lane Signal Timing Study.
10. FY2022 Budget Subcommittee report & approve FY 2022 Budget.
11. Approve TML insurance renewal.
12. Holiday Décor call for projects.
13. Utility Burial call for projects.
14. Review of District Maintenance, including:
a. Landscape maintenance, modifications, and repair:
i. Freeze/Hurricane Damage to District Landscaping;
ii. Detention basin planting;
iii. IH-10 planting;
b. Irrigation maintenance, modifications, and repair;
c. Hardscape maintenance, modifications, and repair:
i. Detention pond basin desilting completion;
d. Graffiti abatement;
e. Sign installation, maintenance, modifications, and repair.
