A nonagenarian actor best known for his lead role on "Star Trek" was part of Blue Origin’s second launch into space.

William Shatner, who is well known for playing Capt. James Kirk on the sci-fi program went into space for an approximately 10-minute flight on Oct. 13

Shatner took to Twitter to try to put into words how the space flight experience had impacted him and his view of the world.

"I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me," Shatner wrote.

At the age of 90, Shatner is the oldest person to have ever flown in space, according to the Houston Chronicle.

He was part of Jeff Bezos’ space company, Blue Origin, latest space flight involving a four-person crew that lifted off from Van Horn in West Texas.

Shatner, Audrey Powers, Blue Origin’s vice president of mission and flight operations and two paying customers, Glen de Vries and Chris Boshuizen were onboard Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket and capsule, according to NBC News.
