'Lonesome Soldier' film released with focus on dealing with PTSD post combat

One out of every three veterans not only deals with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but also experiences a sense of inadequacy in accessing the necessary mental health services. "Lonesome Soldier," a film that portrays a soldier’s experience during the Iraq War, was recently released to encourage servicemen, women and veterans and educate civilians on the impact of PTSD, actor Alex Randazzo said.

ExxonMobil drills first lithium well in Arkansas for EV supply by 2030

Exxon Mobil Corporation announced it has initiated the first phase of lithium production in southwest Arkansas, aiming to tap into significant lithium deposits in the region. The lithium product, branded as Mobil™ Lithium, builds on the longstanding technical partnership between Mobil and the automotive industry, according to a press release by Exxon Mobil Corporation.


Abbott issues $15,000 reward in Pearland flea market shooting

The Office of the Texas Governor put out a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and capture of the suspect in a fatal shooting at a flea market in Pearland. The incident, which claimed the life of one child and injured four others, occurred at Cole’s Flea Market on Nov. 12, per a press release issued on Nov. 13.


Downtown Houston car crash kills three former UH football players

A vehicular accident in Downtown Houston on the morning of Nov. 11 claimed the lives of six people, including three former University of Houston (UH) Cougars football team members. One of the players was D.J. Hayden, who was taken in the first round of the 2013 National Football League (NFL) Draft by the then-Oakland Raiders.
