Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz, who represents Texas’ 15th district in the U.S. Congress, has issued a statement after voting to require the Department of Justice to release remaining files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

“I am heart-stricken for every young woman who endured horrific abuse at the hands of Epstein and his accomplices. Today, I stood alongside the survivors by voting to reveal the truth and release the Epstein files. Every person who committed these heinous crimes must be held accountable and brought to justice.” - Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz

De La Cruz began serving in Congress in 2023 after replacing Vicente Gonzalez. She won her seat by defeating Michelle Vallejo in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections.
