Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Clinton “Clint” Davis as Judge of the 173rd Judicial District Court in Henderson County. The appointment will last until December 31, 2026, or until a successor is elected and qualified.

Davis is currently serving as the county attorney for Henderson County. He holds memberships with the State Bar of Texas, the Federalist Society, and the Henderson County Bar Association. His community involvement includes serving as vice president on the board of Family Circle of Care and as board president of the Family Peace Project, Inc. He is also a member of Kiwanis International.

Davis earned his Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Tyler and received his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston.
