Braven Environmental announces $145M recycling facility in Texarkana under Texas JETI program

Governor Greg Abbott announced that Braven Environmental, LLC will establish an advanced recycling facility in Texarkana as part of the Texas Jobs, Energy, Technology, and Innovation (JETI) program. This project marks the third initiative under the JETI program and is expected to bring more than $145 million in capital investment to the area.

Governor Abbott highlighted the importance of such investments for Texas, stating, "Texas is where today’s products are made using tomorrow’s technologies." He emphasized that economic incentive tools like the JETI program are crucial for attracting new business investments and creating jobs across the state.

Senator Bryan Hughes expressed his support for Braven Environmental's decision to invest in Texas, noting that it reinforces the state's reputation as a leader in innovation and economic opportunity. Representative Gary VanDeaver also welcomed Braven's choice of Northeast Texas for their facility, thanking various local entities for their efforts in attracting this investment.

Braven Environmental CEO Jim Simon acknowledged the significant role of state and local government support in their site selection process. The Hooks Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees expressed excitement about collaborating with Braven Environmental under the JETI program, anticipating substantial job creation and economic growth.
