Houston Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud's first year in the National Football League (NFL) has been nothing short of remarkable. The former Ohio State University standout has earned both the American Football Conference (AFC) Offensive Player of the Month and NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for November, adding to an already impressive list of achievements in his debut season.

Stroud is only the second rookie quarterback in league history to win AFC Offensive Player of the Month, according to a report on the team’s website. He also became only the fifth player ever to secure NFL Offensive Player of the Month in the same month, joining an illustrious group that includes Barry Sanders, Edgerrin James, Mike Anderson, Kareem Hunt, and Deshaun Watson.

His exceptional performance continued throughout November as he led the Texans to a 3-1 record. With 1,466 passing yards, 10 touchdowns and four interceptions from 106-of-154 passes, Stroud's meteoric rise is undeniable. His prowess was on full display when he set a new rookie passing yards record during the team’s 39-37 Week 9 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

As he heads into December—the final full month of regular-season play—Stroud holds another milestone: he is now officially recognized as having thrown more passing yards (3,266) than any other player through their first 11 career games. Meanwhile, Houston prepares for its upcoming game against Denver Broncos on December 3.
