Venterra appoints new CFO: 'Venterra welcomes a visionary leader who will fortify our financial foundation and help drive high quality growth'

Venterra Realty in Houston appointed Pamela Higdon as its new chief financial officer. | Venterra Realty

Houston-headquartered Venterra Realty recently named Pamela Higdon as its new chief financial officer (CFO). A certified public accountant (CPA) by profession, Higdon will be tasked with overseeing Venterra’s financial strategy, according to a press release.

"By appointing Pamela Higdon as our new CFO, Venterra welcomes a visionary leader who will fortify our financial foundation and help drive high quality growth," John Foresi, the company’s chief executive officer (CEO) and co-founder, said, according to the press release. "Pamela's exceptional operating skillset and strategic mindset perfectly align with our company's mission and core values, ensuring a prosperous future. We are excited to witness the positive impact she will have on Venterra, amplifying our success and advancing our abilities to provide market-leading experiences for our residents.” 

Venterra Chairman and co-founder Andrew Stewart described Higdon as the “perfect compass” to guide the company through constant changes in the market, the press release noted. "We will look to her to ensure we make well-informed decisions, allocate resources effectively and maintain the financial health necessary to seize opportunities and achieve our goals for prosperous future growth," Stewart said.

According to the press release, Higdon will also play a huge role in optimizing the performance of Venterra's current businesses and fostering the growth of the company’s development division, as well as provide expertise on future products and services. A graduate of Northern Illinois University (NIU) with a master of business administration (MBA) degree, Higdon has worked in various industries, coming to Venterra from the technology industry.

“Throughout her career, Pamela has honed a remarkable blend of financial expertise and business acumen,” Venterra said, per the press release. “Leading teams of up to 1,000 individuals, she has proved herself to be a seasoned business executive who thrives on tackling challenges and turning visionary ideas into reality. “Her references commend her for her ability to build and nurture high-performance teams while maintaining effective collaboration across various departments.”
