Houston-based climatech incubator Greentown Labs named Timmeko Moore Love its inaugural Houston general manager and senior vice president (SVP) on Aug. 9. Love will be tasked with overseeing Greentown Houston's business operations, team expansion, and the growth of its current membership base.
"We are thrilled to have Timmeko joining our leadership team," Greentown Labs co-founder and interim chief executive office (CEO) Jason Hanna said in a press release. “Her wealth of experience will be instrumental in helping Greentown Houston maximize its impact through operational excellence, while inspiring and accelerating climate entrepreneurship from the energy capital of the world."
Per Greentown Labs, Love was chosen for the role based on her experience in leadership, innovation, venture, and climate. Love will lead Greentown Houston as it works to help member companies achieve commercial success while growing the climatetech ecosystem in the Greater Houston Region and across Texas,” according to the press release.

"Greentown Labs is committed to ensuring founders' success and is an agent of action in the fight against climate change," Love said, according to the press release. "I am excited to continue my service to the Greater Houston climate innovation ecosystem through this esteemed platform, and partner internally and externally to evolve and expand our services and programs."
A veteran of the electronics and semiconductor industry, Love holds a master of business administration (MBA) degree from Columbia Business School, a master’s degree from Cornell University, and joint bachelor’s degrees from Dartmouth College and Florida A&M University.
