Houston-based fitness franchise Iron 24 Fitness + Recovery held a grand opening celebration for its third Greater Houston area location on Saturday, per a press release.
The company’s new gym at 120 Circle Way in Lake Jackson joins existing locations in Conroe and Pearland, the latter city founder David Graham calls its hometown.
"The grand opening of the Lake Jackson gym location is another major step in our continued expansion across the nation," company founder David Graham said in the release. "Our mission at Iron 24 has always been to empower people to achieve their fitness goals, and with each new location, we are extending our reach and impact within the community.”
“By opening our third location in the greater Houston area, we are confident that we will provide even more individuals with an accessible state-of-the-art fitness facility and an exceptional workout experience," Graham, who also founded Iron 24’s parent company FranchiCzar, continued.
Houston Daily reported Iron 24 touts itself as being different from the traditional gym, saying it offers people “a 100% digital gym experience” that’s affordable and accessible.
Per the publication, the gym instructs prospective customers to download its app to access the facility around the clock, as well as apply for the “Fitness + Recovery” membership.
“For the commitment-phobic, Iron 24 has eliminated long-term gym contracts and done away with any sales pitch,” Iron 24 said. “Members can request to stop.”
Like its two counterparts, the release said, the 24-hour Lake Jackson location features treadmills, ellipticals and free weights.
According to Houston Daily, the company said that it has its eye on future openings throughout the Houston area for much of this year, with plans to expand its footprint across Texas, Florida and even north of the border in Canada.
“Entrepreneurs throughout the country are seeing the value in our model, with gyms in development,” the Iron 24 website said.
