An establishment best known for its hot dogs laced with honey mayonnaise has set up shop at one of Houston’s most popular watering holes, according to a report from Houston CBS affiliate KHOU.

KHOU reported that Yoyo’s Hotdog found a new home at 8th Wonder Brewery and Distillery in Houston’s East Downtown (EaDo) neighborhood.

Yoyo’s Hotdog was previously located in Rice Village before its lease was terminated, the station reported.

“[It’s] exciting news for Houston foodies,” Yoyo’s said in a tweet

Kevin Dang, the food stand’s proprietor, told KHOU earlier this year that property management’s decision to not give the respective leases for Yoyo’s and Oh My Gogi, another renowned food truck, devastated him.

And that was when 8th Wonder came to Yoyo’s rescue.

Per Yoyo’s website, the family-owned and -operated business has been active since 2010, starting out in the Fox Hollow community in northern Harris County before moving to Rice Village.

"[It] isn’t just about selling hot dogs, we're about making a statement over the importance of small businesses and handcrafted experiences throughout your city,” the website said. “Initially, we had wanted to create a product that was universally cherished but ultimately misunderstood, and we wanted to put a spin on it to make it our own.”

The eatery bills itself as “Houston’s original.”

KHOU reported that Yoyo’s didn’t specify what days and hours it’ll appear at 8th Wonder, but customers can receive updates via Twitter.

According to the station, Yoyo's has its sights on opening a physical location in the Heights and is waiting on the approval of a permit.
