Chicago native and Kansas State University basketball player Seryee Lewis signed a deal to become a brand ambassador for  Houston-based car dealership Houston Auto Select. Following a recent Supreme Court ruling allowing student-athletes to accept business opportunities without impacting their NCAA eligibility, Lewis will begin representing boutique basketball agency HMG Sports Management.

"Excited to say I have partnered with Houston Auto Select. Visit them for great auto selections and no hassle car shopping experience! Check them out houstonautoselect.com, 3202 Jeanetta Street, Houston, Texas," Lewis wrote in a tweet published on Nov. 3. "Big shoutout to my HMG family @HMGSport for believing in my abilities."

HMG Sport responded with a tweet of its own published on the same day.

"#Blackhistory @Seryee2020 It will only get better! #hicksmg," the tweet read.

Lewis began playing basketball at Rice University before transferring to Kansas State, where he has established himself as a key attribute to the team's success. Lewis has also been the recipient of awards such as "Fall 2020 Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll," was named a 4-star prospect by recruiters, and was rated on of the "Top Power Forwards" in the United States. These qualities and more are what make Houston Auto Select manager Ramey Araissi excited to work with him.

Houston Auto Select is a family-owned business established in 2017 and considered one of the highest-rated car dealerships in Houston. The company has maintained a 5-star rating on Yelp due to its quality service and practice of offering high-quality, pre-owned vehicles to customers.
