A Houston-based restaurant chain that specializes in a New Orleans culinary staple intends to expand its footprint into three major airports in Texas, per a press release

Antone’s Famous Po’ Boys said that it has formed partnerships with operators at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).

Craig Lieberman, the eatery’s chief executive officer (CEO), said in the release that a huge demand for his restaurant’s wares exists across the Lone Star State.

“Year after year, there’s been an increased demand for Antone’s across Texas,” Lieberman said. “We’re honored to continue to provide a well-known brand to loyal Texans. Now, we’re excited to see our po’ boys travel to destinations across the U.S. and introduce them to newcomers.”

Per the company, travelers at IAH can grab an Antone’s po’ boy at Peet’s Coffee in Terminals B and D, Pink’s Pizza in Terminal C and Hubcap Grill in Terminal A while passengers traversing through HOU can order the sandwich at Peet’s Coffee in the Central and West Terminals.

At DFW, travelers can get their Antone’s fix at FW Magazine Travel in Terminal D.

The release said that Antone’s also sells its po’ boys at Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS).

According to the establishment’s website, it was founded in Houston in 1962 by Jelal E. Antone, the son of Lebanese immigrants.

Among its most popular items are The Original po’ boy, the Super Original po’ boy and a Vietnamese banh mi created by and named after Dr. Peter Hotez, one of the leading medical figures in Houston’s fight against COVID-19.
