On July 13, Lil' Keke held a social and book signing event to celebrate 2022's "713 day."

Marcus Lakee Edwards (Lil' Keke's given name) is a rapper and original member of the Southern hip-hop collective Screwed Up Click.

According to SpitFireHipHop, 713 Day is a reference to Houston's first area code, a number that represents not just the city but also Houston “legend” and rapper Lil Keke. In 2015, former Houston Mayor Annise Parker proclaimed July 13 as Lil' Keke's 713 Day, an honor current Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner repeated in 2019.

To celebrate 713 day in 2022, Lil' Keke held a social and book signing event at James Harden’s Restaurant, Thirteen, for the release of his new book, “LGND TLK: The Fastest Way to a Fresh Start.”

“Attendees poured into the highly anticipated event to celebrate the man of the hour, purchase SLFMade merch and get their books signed by Lil' Keke, including special guests such as Slim Thug, Fellow Screwed Up Click Members Big Pokey and Z RO, Rappers, Propain, Lolita Monreaux, Houston Director Issac Yowman, Business Mogul and The Greasy Spoon Soulfood Bistro Owner Max Bozeman II and many more,” according to SpitFireHipHop.

The following were present at the event to receive 713 Day SLFMade Leadership Awards: CEO of 713 Motoring Ashworth Barnes, G-Dash of Swishahouse, Gas Gods, Donnie Houston-DJ/Podcast Icon, SoSouth Distribution, LLC, Shelby Stewart-Journalist and the SLFMade Team.
