Trill on Wheels is Houston's first and only Trill Pedal Bike Party that is “all things Houston.”
The company offers unique party bike tours of Houston, according to its website. The pedal bike seats 13 guests and features a 2-hour experience that pays homage to the Houston music and slab culture. During the ride, participants can enjoy Houston trivia, Trill karaoke and a “true turn up.”
Trill on Wheels co-founder Johnathan Mark shared Trill’s unique experience with Houston Daily.
"Trill On Wheels is the ultimate Houston hip-hop experience,” Mark said. “We're combining the legacies of Dj Screw, UGK, Megan Thee Stallion, and Beyonce with Houston nightlife and light fitness. Our riders get to experience a 2-hr tour throughout historic Third Ward, compete in our Trill Trivia, and sing along to H-Town classics during our Trap karaoke. It's the perfect excuse to spend some time outdoors and celebrate life's biggest moments, the Trill way."
Trill means being true and real and there's no one more real than a Houstonian, Mark added.
“We've battled through hurricanes, blazing summers, power outages and more sports drama than should be allowed,” Mark said. “But despite it all, we stand tall and always rep our city proudly."
Guests will get to hear some of the "Trillest" music Houston has to offer, ride through the 3rd ward area, and stop at several well-known establishments near Almeda.
"Our homegrown, curated playlist that keeps the energy high and the vibes perfect, exclusively features Houston artists such as Slim Thug, Beat King, and Lil Keke," Mark said. "While riding in style on our "Swangas and Vogue Tyres," our riders are kept hyped and safe by their dedicated Trappin' Captain who serves as the ultimate party host and tour guide. We also make two bar stops while on our route to support other black-owned businesses in the neighborhood and to truly give our riders a 3rd Ward experience they'll never forget. There is absolutely nothing like Almeda on a Sunday night."
The married couple that owns and operates the company was inspired by the art, car, and music scene in Houston.
"Growing up here in Houston, it's hard to not be impressed by how our culture has truly impacted the world and set the standard," Mark said. "We wanted to create an experience that not only highlights our amazing culture in a fun way but also celebrates the artists that have given us all so much. This is pure passion for our team."
Each pedal bike features custom artwork representing Houston's communities.
"The bike's design pays a particular homage to Houston's unique neighborhoods and the artists that each neighborhood boasts," Mark said. “On the right side of the bike, we feature prominent Southside of Houston neighborhoods such as Sunnyside and artists such as Lil Flip and Z-Ro. The left side of the bike is all about the Northside as we highlight neighborhoods like Acres Homes and artists such as Paul Wall and J Prince. It's completely beautiful and completely Trill."
Bike tours can be booked on the Trill on Wheels website. Riders can reserve individual seats for $35 and private parties start at $365.
"We just want to thank 3rd Ward, the city of Houston, and all of our riders and fans that have supported our vision since we launched," Mark said. “We've had over 10 weeks of consecutive sell-outs and we're not slowing down anytime soon. The hype is real, and we hope everyone gets to experience us soon."
