We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2022, at the age of 70, Terry Partch Schmidt of Pasadena, Texas, born in Houston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Bob Schmidt and Jane Schmidt; and his brother Mike Schmidt. He is survived by : his wife Jean Schmidt; his daughters, Heather Shrum (Vincent Chase), Amy Atherton (Kenneth) and Stacey Shawyer (Scott); his grandchildren, Chris Jessen (Natalia), Morgan Shrum, Emma Shawyer, Micah Shrum, Keira Shawyer and Dylan Atherton; his great grandchild Odin Jessen; and his siblings, Bobby Schmidt (Julie) and Nancy Walker.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 21st 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church (210 W X St, Deer Park, TX 77536). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 21st 2022 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, February 21st 2022 at 3:00 PM at the Grand View Funeral Home (8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505). A burial will be held on Monday, February 21st 2022 at the Grand View Memorial Park (8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505).
The family requests in lieu of flowers we kindly ask, please make a donation in Terry's name to Pendo International Projects - the school for underprivileged children that Stacey helped start in Kenya.
