It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melba Gloria Arias (Houston, Texas), born in Alice, Texas, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Pablo Barrera and Beatriz Barrera; and her siblings, Armando Barrera and Belinda Guzman. She is survived by : her daughter Jessica Lopez; her nieces, Jo Lynn Guzman and Leticia Bushong (Matthew) of Falfurrias; her great-niece Aaliyah Jumper; her siblings-in-law, Joe Guzman, Sr. and Lupita Barrera; and her brother Pablo.
She worked for Creative Care Children's School until the pandemic quarantine, enriching the lives of thousands of Spring Branch ISD children over a 36-year period.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Melba's honor can be made to the Dementia Society of America.
