It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo Vincent McConnell of Pearland, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on January 29, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Julian and Bridget Veronica Duffy McConnell; his step-son Zeferino Valdez; and his son-in-law Charles Thurmond. He is survived by : his wife Gabriela; his children, Linda Thurmond, Peggy McConnell and Leo Vincent McConnell III; his step-daughter Gabriela Valdez; his grandchildren, Logan Thurmond (Rachel), Nola Hranicky (Chris), Abigail Chavez (Bryan), Zeferino Soto and Andrew Soto; his great grandchildren, Amber, Zane, Reagan, Austin, Giannina and Arian; and his great great grandchild Bristol.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 4th 2022 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Clayton Funeral Home (5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 4th 2022 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
