Fortin selected for Canadian camp

Rice University soccer goalkeeper Ann Stephanie Fortin was selected to participate in the Canadian Under-20 Women's Camp.

The camp took place Jan. 2-7 in Markham, Ontario.

The camp was comprised of potential members of the Women's Under-20 National Team, who will participate in the 2022 CONCACAF Women's Under-20 Championship in the Dominican Republic, Feb. 25-March 12.

Fortin, a freshman from Sainte-Julie, Quebec, Canada, is a two-time participant as she was on the Canadian National Under-15 Team at the CONCACAF Tournament.

Fortin, 5-foot-5-inches, was born in Montreal and is a two-time AAA League Most Valuable Player while attending Ecole Secondaire De Mortagne High School. She was a three-time goalie for the Quebec Provincial team.
