Authorities have cancelled an Amber Alert for a 13 year old missing since mid-September after the teenager was located, KTRK reported.

She had been living in a state-sponsored home in the 10500 block of Rockaway Drive in northeast Houston when she was reported missing, the station said.

But she walked into a Houston Police Department's North Station on West Montgomery Road and appeared to be unharmed physically, a Federal Bureau of Investigation spokesperson told the station. She was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, Fox 26 reported.

"The FBI is involved because we believe that she may be a victim of sex trafficking," Christina Garza, a public affairs officer for the FBI Houston office, said earlier, the station reported.

Investigators believe the teen had been abducted by a 22-year-old man, the story said.  Authorities arrested Sha Kendrick Edward in Montgomery County on federal sex trafficking charges, the KTRK reported.
