Senior Dillon Bell at Houston's Kinkaid School has pledged to play wideout for the University of Georgia (UGA) on Aug. 2.

At 6 foot 2 inches and 205 pounds, Bell is a three-star recruit in the Class of 2022 at the Kinkaid School in Houston where he has played as a wide receiver. Georgia was one of the eight schools within his top choices for football.

"Three-Star WR Dillon Bell has just Committed to Georgia, he tells @On3Recruits. The 6’2 205 WR from Houston, Texas chose the Bulldogs over Michigan. With the addition of Bell, Georgia now sits at the #7 Class in the 2022 Team Rankings," Football recruiting expert Hayes Fawcett said in a tweet, in response to Bell's commitment.

Bell also announced his pledge in a tweet featuring an edited image of himself in the signature black, red and white colors of Georgia, with the caption "COMMITTED!"

Bell was offered his scholarship in June from the University of Georgia, and he would go on to choose the school over Baylor, Michigan, Auburn, Houston, Minnesota, Texas A&M and Mississippi State, according to UGA Wire.

The wide receiver has been coveted by coaches across the country for his skill on the field as well as his speed as a track runner as well, giving him the advantage of both size and speed. 247Sports also ranked Bell 564 for overall players in the nation and 74 for wide receivers.

Even UGA football's head coach took to Twitter to celebrate Bell's commitment, with a tweet enthusiastically supporting his team. The rest of UGA football's fanbase also took to Twitter to voice their opinions on Bell's decision, according to UGA Wire

Bell was UGA's 13 pledge for the team this year alone and is ranked as a three-star wide receiver. UGA is a member of the Southeastern Conference alongside 14 other schools throughout the nation.
