'This is only the beginning': Boswell grad Robertson scores in Colorado

University of Houston softball recruit Emma Robertson recently took her show to Colorado, banging out six hits as part of a doubleheader for IG 18U.

Robertson, who announced her signing with the Cougars by taking to Twitter to post “this is only the beginning,” also scored three runs and drove in four more.

The big-game heroics are nothing new for Robertson, who as a senior at Boswell High was named 2021 Softball All-Area Player of the Year by the Star-Telegram. Robertson finished with hitting a school record .659, with 11 homers and 60 RBIs in leading the district champ Pioneers to the school’s first regional semifinals finish.
