McCaul votes for enhanced security act after second attempt on Trump's life

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul (R-Texas) voted for the Enhanced Presidential Security Act of 2024, legislation that directs the U.S. Secret Service to apply the same standards when determining the number of agents in a protection detail for presidents, vice presidents, and major presidential and vice-presidential candidates.

McCaul supports bill preventing federal bailout for sanctuary cities

The legislation aims to prevent federal funds from being used to support sanctuary cities, including New York City, amidst a migrant crisis attributed to these cities and the Biden-Harris administration.
