Houston area selected for Gulf Coast Hydrogen Hub development

The city of Houston has been selected to establish the Gulf Coast Hydrogen Hub as part of the nationwide network of Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs. This announcement was made by U.S. President Biden and U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm. The Houston region is one of seven hubs chosen to receive $7 billion in funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

The city of Houston has been selected as one of the eight cities to receive a $1 million grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies Public Art Challenge. The grant will be used to fund Houston's winning project, "HueMan: Shelter," which aims to challenge perceptions of homelessness and foster artistic collaborations between artists and unhoused individuals. City of Houston allocates $100,000 for tourism and resilience

The city of Houston has announced that the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs (MOCA) is allocating $100,000 in grants to support cultural tourism and resilience within the city. These grants were distributed as part of the city’s Initiative, a competitive program managed by the Houston Arts Alliance (HAA), and were funded by a portion of Houston's Hotel Occupancy Tax.
