II. Public Services

a. The Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) recommends Council approval of an Ordinance authorizing a First Amendment to the Agreement between the City of Houston (City) and SEARCH Homeless Services (SEARCH), providing up to $100,000.00 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for an early childhood development program serving 20 children from low-to moderate-income families (aged 21 months to five years), through SEARCH’s Foshee Family House of Tiny Treasures. (District D) 

b. HCD recommends Council approval of an Ordinance authorizing a Second Amendment to the Subrecipient Agreement between the City and SEARCH, providing up to $376,669.00 in combined Emergency Solution Grant (ESG) and CDBG funds for a Rapid Re-housing Case Management services program to a minimum of 100 homeless households. (All Districts)
