Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz, who represents Texas’ 15th district in the U.S. Congress, issued a statement after voting in favor of the Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2026. The measure will fund the federal government through November 21, 2025.
"Today's vote is a short-term solution, so we can continue the important work to deliver for our communities. By passing the continuing resolution, we are keeping the government running and extending benefits for Veterans, food assistance for low-income families, and funding for community health centers." - Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz
De La Cruz has served in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Vicente Gonzalez. She won her seat by defeating Michelle Vallejo in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections.
