III. Proposed Changes to Chapter 20 – Food and Drugs of the City of Houston Code of Ordinances 

The Houston Health Department recommends City Council approval of an ordinance amending Chapter 20, Food and Drugs, of the City of Houston Code of Ordinances to align food safety regulations with state and federal models and mandates by reference, and revise food establishment permit categories and fees in accordance with Senate Bill 1008 of the 89th Regular Session of the Texas Legislature.
