Michelle Mangum-Merendino, Judge of the 75th Judicial District Court in Liberty County | ballotready

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Michelle Mangum-Merendino as Judge of the 75th Judicial District Court in Liberty County. Her term will run until December 31, 2026, or until a successor is elected and qualified.

Mangum-Merendino works as an attorney in private practice and currently serves as president of the Liberty County Bar Association. She is also a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Bar College, and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. In addition to her legal work, she previously belonged to the American Bar Association and Harris County Bar Association.

Her community involvement includes serving on the Liberty Police Department Advisory Board, being a member of the Texas Family Law Foundation, and participating in Faith Family Church. Mangum-Merendino earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Houston–Clear Lake and holds a Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law Houston.
