DIRECTOR’S REPORT – Robert Williamson, Acting Secretary of this Commission and Deputy Director of the Houston Planning and Development Department, one announcement, thank you to Commissioner Rob Hellyer for his devotion of 15 years to the Historic Preservation Board, he will be retiring and with great gratitude we thank you for your service to the city.
I. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Consideration of and possible action on the Minutes for the HPAB Meeting of May 19, 2025 Commission action: Approved.

II. CONSIDERATION OF AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON AN APPEAL OF THE DECISION OF THE HOUSTON ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND HISTORICAL COMMISSION ON (HAHC) ON JANUARY 16, 2025, FOR A CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS (COA) FOR DEMOLITION OF 1120 E. 14TH STREET IN NORHILL HISTORIC DISTRICT.
Action: Affirm and upheld the HAHC; Historic Archaeological and Historic Commission decision of denial.
