Today, Congressman Wesley Hunt expressed satisfaction with the U.S. House of Representatives' approval of President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill. This legislation is described as the largest tax cut for American families in history.

The bill aims to fulfill promises to the American public by eliminating taxes on tips and overtime and reducing taxes on social security. According to Hunt, "With President Trump, we are putting families first—not bureaucrats."

In addition to tax cuts, the bill addresses border security by finishing the border wall and stopping fentanyl flow. It also includes bonuses for ICE and Border Patrol agents and funds a significant deportation effort.

The legislation seeks to reverse previous energy policies, lower prices, and prioritize American energy production. "We will finally drill here, build here, and power America with American energy," Hunt stated.

Hunt views this as part of an America First agenda: "By taking this important step to codify tax relief, border security, immigration enforcement, and pro-energy policy into law, we are honoring the clear mandate given by the American people."

He further added that it represents a historic victory for working families and national security.
