Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Nadia Stewart to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. Stewart's term will expire on February 1, 2029. The Board is responsible for licensing, examination, and rulemaking in professional counseling.
Nadia Stewart resides in Round Rock and works as an attorney and partner at Stewart and Gretch, PLLC. She serves on the board for ARAG Legal and is a member of several legal associations including the Williamson County Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, and the Texas Pro Bono College. Additionally, she volunteers with the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, Volunteer Legal Services, and Hope Alliance.
Stewart holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from California State University San Marcos. She also earned her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law.
