Southwest Management District Board of Directors met April 28.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. Determine quorum; call meeting to order.

2. Receive public comments. (A statement of no more than 3 minutes may be made on items of general relevance. There will be no yielding of time to another person. State law prohibits the Board Chair or members of the Board from commenting on any statement or engaging in dialogue without an appropriate agenda item being posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Law. Comments should be directed to the entire Board, not individual members. Engaging in verbal attacks or comments intended to insult, abuse, malign, or slander any individual shall be cause for termination of time privileges).

3. Approve Minutes of meeting held March 24, 2025.

4. Approve FY2024 Annual Financial Report and Audit from McCall Gibson Swedlund Barfoot Ellis PLLC. 5. Update from Finance Committee.

a. Receive Assessment Collection Report.

b. Receive monthly financial reports; and approve payment of invoices.

6. Consider extension of office lease agreement.

7. Updates and recommendations from Public Safety Committee.

8. Updates and recommendations from Business & Economic Development Committee.

a. Consider sponsorship submitted by Epoch Media Group Texas in support of the Mother’s Day Appreciation Event.

b. Consider sponsorship submitted by the Women’s Chamber of Commerce in support of the International Conference of Women.

c. Consider sponsorship submitted by the Asian Real Estate Association of America.

d. Consider sponsorship submitted by the Chinese Community Center in support of First Annual Pickleball Tournament.

e. Consider sponsorship submitted by I-Fest USA in support of SW Houston Origami & Art Festival. f. Consider sponsorship by the Texas Safety & Business Alliance in support of the Community Safety and Business Symposium 2025.

9. Updates and recommendations from Environmental & Urban Design Committee.

a. Proposal submitted by Williams Architectural Signage & Consulting LLC for the repair of a damaged ID marker.

b. Proposal submitted by Williams Architectural & Signage Consulting LLC for the installation of Liberty Fest panels.

c. Consider funding support for the Hillcroft Crosswalk Project.
